I’ve been working as a professional writer, editor, and content manager for nearly twenty years. Much of my career had been driven by a love of words and the endless possibilities they provide. That love has only gotten stronger.
In my personal time, I write fiction. I’m proud to be an Indie-Reader-approved author and to have my work included in Independent Book Review’s “Best Book We Read This Year” list for 2023.
Among my favorite content writing tasks is writing bunny bios for the Long Island Rabbit Rescue, an organization that is doing amazing work and providing vital help to highly vulnerable animals and the people who care for them, including me and my family when our home became an unexpected bunny nursery.
Caring for animals extends beyond my front door through water gardening, pollinator and wildlife habitat propagation.
I continue to be an avid reader, with my love of books becoming more than just literary, but literal, as I’ve now taken up bookbinding
Fiber arts is a great source of relaxation and a creative outlet. My original knitting patterns and amigurumi design guides have gained some popularity among my fellow knitters on Ravelry.
Fine arts and illustration remain a mainstays in my life. I will never miss an opportunity to mention that David Attenborough has personally complimented my portrait work.
